Now, a few things to mention before I start, this blog post *isn't sponsored, however I did publish a sponsored IGTV (you can watch it HERE if you want to!), for them about our bathroom revamp, and the paint was kindly sent to us for this project. So yeah, this post isn't sponsored, but the social was - I just really love the transformation and wanted to share it with you all!
Okay second thing, I say 'downstairs bathroom' but really as you can see it is the worlds smallest bathroom, essentially a toilet and sink (and a boiler!), it's a super small space and because of the size I didn't ever really know what to do with the room!
However we decided to give it a little revamp and I'm so, so pleased with the results! We didn't really have any budget to makeover this room (nor did we really want to spend much on it as it's just a downstairs toilet!), but I knew a lick of paint, and some cute accessories and the whole thing would be transformed, and I wasn't wrong!
I'm super chuffed with how it all came out, so let's start with the 'before' shots then move onto the finished look!...

On the walls: 'Dulux 'Floating Petal'
Firstly, HOW BEAUTIFUL is this pink?! It's called Floating Petal by Dulux and I'm obsessed to be honest! I've been pinning pink bathrooms WAY before we bought a home and I'm so happy to say I finally have one - this pink really was the perfect shade!
We're due to get our floor tiled in around a months time which I think would finish the bathroom off perfectly, but for now I ordered this really cute bath mat from H&M which I love! I don't really like the current flooring, so it's a great way to disguise it until the new floor goes in!
In terms of dressing the room, one of my favourite pieces was this stunning round mirror from Matalan (so affordable at just £20!), I've seen similar ones online for £100+!!

Andddd just like that, another room in our house is complete! We have plans to have the floor tiled and to box in the boiler, but other than that - it's complete and I am SO happy with it!
I adore the Dulux shade 'Floating Petal' that we picked, it complements the room so well and I finally have the pink bathroom I've always wanted!
