A Guide To Canggu, Bali
Planning to Visit Canggu on your trip to Bali? I've covered everything from where to stay, eat and what to do during your visit!
Canggu, Bali...
Canggu is a must if you're visiting Bali, it was one of my favourite places that I visited in Bali as it had a proper 'island vibe'. It was super laid back, super cool and just well, fun!
From the coolest bars (there's a skate park bar that I loved, but it will also make you feel like the UNCOOLEST person in the world haha!), to trendy food joints and cute markets, Canggu really has got it all.
I'd highly recommend a 2-3 day stop off in Canggu if you can fit it into your trip to Bali, it's around 15/20 minutes from Seminyak and an hour from Denpasaar airport!
What to expect from Canggu? Canggu is where the cool kids hang out, that's for sure! But, don't be put off - I had an amazing time, from checking out the cool food joints to watching sunset at The Lawn and drinks at Old Man's - Canggu is a must!
Where to stay? Airbnb Villa in central Canggu
If you're looking to splurge a little (although not expensive), I would highly recommend this beautiful villa with a pool which was SO central (on the main road and just a 5/10 minute walk to the beach!). Myself and Ben stayed here and loved it, but it does actually sleep four so it's also great for a group!

Where to eat: brunch & coffee...
You'll find tonnes of healthy/cool food joints in Canggu, they're all about smoothie bowls, vegan, clean eating and just getting that goodness in! I could eat in Canggu forever and be happy!
Brunch & coffee: Crate (the BEST place in Bali for breakfast - I ate there four out of seven days, SO good!) | Nalu Bowls (same as Seminyak but more of a shack in Canggu - super cute!) | Cafe Organic (super healthy & cute interiors!) | Gypsy Kitchen & Bar (great spot for brunch/lunch!) | The Shady Shack (delicious food!) | Cocomo - super cute spot for breakfast and fresh juices (dead picturesque too!)

Pictured above & below: Cocomo - a lovely spot for breakfast and fresh juices, super pretty & picturesque!
Where to eat: dinner & drinks...
Dinner & Drinks: Luigi's (BEST pizza in Canggu - great for sharing!) | Old Man's (great spot for sundowners!) | The Lawn (THE spot to watch the sunset & delicious food!) | Black Cat Mini Mart (literally a mini mart shop, BUT walk through the fridge at the back of the shop & into a bar!) | Pretty Poison (skate park & bar, check it out - super cool!)
I spent my first ever night in Bali at The Lawn in Canggu and watched the sunset - it was STUNNING!
What to do in Canggu?
Enjoy lazy brunches at the many amazing foot spots, learn to surf on the beach, do some shopping at Love Anchor (great spot for bargains at the market stalls too!), watch the sunset at The Lawn and party at Old Mans!
