An insight to London's edgy retreat just a stones throw from Shepherds Bush station; the K West Hotel & Spa!

Where? Richmond Way, Hammersmith, London W14 0AX

Last weekend Ben and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the K West hotel & Spa in Shepherds Bush (a five minute walk from the station!). I've actually stayed at the hotel previously with my mum, but it was Ben's first time and I was so excited to show him the hotel!

We arrived around 6pm in the evening, checked in then headed straight for the spa (my favourite part of the hotel!), no cameras were allowed in the spa so I can't show you any of my own snaps BUT you can take a look at the spa HERE, or just take my word for it that it's really, bloody amazing!

The spa has two saunas, a steam room, a hydrotherapy pool, foot baths, relaxation pods along with London's first ever snow room (amazing straight after a sauna!!). We spent a few hours relaxing and reading in the spa before we showered up before dinner (LOL JK I had a bath because I always have to try out the bath wherever we go!).

Read on to hear all about our room & dinner at the hotel!...

Dinner at Studio Kitchen

We booked in for a late dinner at 9pm, post spa and it was delicious! We dined at the hotel's restaurant; Studio Kitchen - both the lighting and atmosphere in the restaurant was super calming and laid back which I loved!

Ben and I ordered the Salt & Pepper Squib with Aloli to start (bloody delish I'm telling you!). For the main course I had Truffle & Mushroom Gnocchi and Ben had a Halloumi Salad, washed down with a glass of wine each! We both absolutely loved dinner and were itching to get down to the Studio Bar after as they were playing some absolute BANGERS!

We stayed over on a Saturday night and the hotel had a great vibe, it was super lively (you couldn't hear anything from your rooms which was fab!), but it seemed the 'place to be'! I'd highly recommend checking out the hotel for dinner & drinks if you're in the area!

Our Suite

We were very kindly upgrading to a Suite upon arrival which was simply stunning, complete with the biggest bed EVER, a separate lounge area, luxe bathtub, relaxation area and Nespresso coffee machine!

We absolutely loved our stay in the suite and extended our check out in the morning so we could enjoy the room and spa (we didn't want to leave!). You can check out the rooms available at the K West Hotel & Spa HERE!
