Five Of The Best: Instagram Spots In Bali
After spending nearly 5 weeks in Bali, it's safe to say I came across some of the Instagram hotspots! Here's my top five!
PIN ME:
Blogger or not, it seems like everyone in Bali is trying to nail a shot for the 'gram! From swing parks designed for Instagram shots, to the most picturesque places to snap the sunsets, and Instagram-worthy cafes - Bali has it all!
I've rounded up my top five spots to snap your Instagram pictures on your trip to Bali!...
1.) Uma Pakel Swing Park
Where? Alan Raya Tegallalang, Tegalalang 80561, Indonesia
This swing park was basically designed to help you nail your Instagram shot, and whilst admittedly it's utterly ridiculous, it is also quite fun! Myself and Lucia snapped away on three different swings & went on the 'big swing' which was SO fun (make sure you go backwards too!).
What do I need to know? Uma Pakel will charge you 200K entrance fee, which is roughly £10, whilst it isn't loadsssss of money, whilst you're travelling around it is quite a lot to take some shots for the gram. This place was around a 20/30 minute drive from Ubud centre and only around 5 minutes from Tegalalang Rice Paddies so be sure to do both in one trip if you're thinking of visiting!
2.) Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Ubud
Where? Jl. Raya Ceking Tegallalang | Between Tegalalang and Ubud, Ubud 80517, Indonesia
Around a 20/30 minute drive from Ubud city centre, the Tegalalang Rice Terrace is the most popular rice terrace in Ubud, although popular it's VERY busy and a slight tourist trap. You'll definitely find more authentic terraces around Bali but this seems to be the go-to.
It's only a five minute drive from Uma Pakel (number 1 in this list), so I'd recommend doing both if you're heading out to visit either!
What do I need to know? There's no entrance fee (although they do accept donations), and if you're looking to get a picture on one of the swings or by one of the 'Love Bali' signs then you will need to pay a small amount. It's super busy so try to go early morning to avoid crowds (and the heat!). I would also recommend hiring a driver rather than trying to navigate the terraces yourself!
3.) Kynd Community, Seminyak
Where? Jalan Raya Petitenget No12x, Petitenget, Bali
I absolutely HAD to include Kynd Community in this feature as it's quite possibly the most grammed cafe in Bali - it's basically an Instagrammers dream! From the marble tables to the pink/palm print wall and the beautiful smoothie bowls, everywhere you look is a picture opportunity at Kynd!
What do I need to know? Kynd is fairly expensive (by Bali standards) but the food is delicious - it's well worth a visit, whether you're there for the gram or not. It also gets super busy (no surprise there!), we waited around 15 minutes to get a table next to the infamous pink wall (there's only 3/4 tables next to it so be prepared to wait if it's busy!). Open Monday - Sunday, 6am-5pm.

4.) The Lawn, Canggu
Where? Jl. Pura Dalem, Canggu, Kuta Utara, Canggu, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia
Ohhhh The Lawn... how I miss that place! For me, The Lawn is the best place to watch and capture the sunset in Canggu, it's a beautiful bar/restaurant with a lovely chill area and swimming pool! Grab a cocktail and get in the pool or opt for a chair on the balcony to watch the sunset!
I took Ben when he arrived in Bali and we actually ate dinner on the balcony too whilst watching the sunset - the food was delicious, we ordered the rose Sangria which was also DIVINE!
What do I need to know? Get there early (around 4.30/5pm) to grab a chair on the balcony or a table as it gets busy, The Lawn really is the sunset spot so arrive in plenty of time! If you're on a budget, just order a cocktail/soft drink and watch the sunset from the balcony, it's fine to only order drinks!
5.) Mad Pops, Seminyak
Where? Jl. Kayu Aya No.48, Seminyak, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Mad Pops is quite possibly the most delicious ice cream in Bali, all 100% Vegan and made with locally sourced fruits and products! This tiny little shop has made it's way to Instagram and become the place to snap your ice cream shot! There's also one in Canggu but the shot above was taken in the Seminyak store where seems to be popular for Instagram!
What do I need to know? It's SMALL! This shop is tiny so don't be expecting much, but the staff are SO friendly and super happy for you to snap your shots whilst you buy an ice cream! A must visit!
There we have it my loves, my top five Instagram spots in Bali - I really hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy snapping your shots too!
