I always find January quite a hard time to dress - you're not *quite over that Christmas period of living in joggers 90% of the time, it's not *quite time for Spring items to hit the shops (plus it's still bloody FREEZING), so there's a real mix of dressing for style meets wearing ALL of the layers to keep warm!

I think January is a great month to start building your capsule wardrobe (you can also make the most of the January sales to bag some designer bargains too). Start building up those investment t-shirts, classic jeans and coats that will go with everything - that way your pieces will last you year round and you can mix up your tees with shorts / skirts in the summer too!
