Ahh body hair, such a taboo subject – yet, it absolutely shouldn’t be! It’s something we ALL have, and something we shouldn’t be ashamed of! Whether we decide to shave, wax, go au natural or hair removal – it’s OUR body and OUR choice!
A few months back Sensica reached out to see if I’d like to trial their Sensilight Pro (available to buy at Boots), for 6-8 weeks, the Sensilight Pro is the Sensica Hair Removal device, which can give you results in just four sessions (amazing, huh?).
I’ve been shaving my legs since I was around 13/14 and it’s such a chore isn’t it?! (I basically live for winter so I can wear tights and not shave for days *cough weeks* at a time haha, anyone else?!). I jumped at the chance to trial this product because HELLO no more shaving!
I love to feel like I’m ready to just chuck on a summer dress if the British sunshine decides to surprise us with a hot day, not having to rush upstairs for an emergency leg shave before leaving the house – I was super excited to trial this product out and wave goodbye to panic shaving!
Sharing my top tips & advice on using the Sensilight Pro:
How do I use the product? To use the Sensilight Pro, make sure you shave, clean and dry your skin before treatment (remove all jewellery and cover any tattoos with a white band-aid too!), select the desired energy level (you can pick suited to your pain threshold!).
Once you’ve selected your energy level, place the device on skin (ensuring it has full contact) and choose between Pulse or Automatic Glide – depending on your preference and the treatment area!
Does it hurt? No! I’m actually quite a wimp when it comes to things like this as I have quite a low pain threshold, so I adjusted mine to level 3 as that felt super comfortable for my skin!
If you head over to my Instagram I’m actually giving away a Sensilight Pro for you to win (worth £375!!), if you’d like to trial this epic hair removal device and get summer ready too!
What are your thoughts on body hair? It makes me feel SO much more confidence in myself and my body knowing that I’m prepping my body hair for summer, just how I like it!
