I've been SO excited to share my New York content with you all - it's taken me a while to work out exactly how I want to split it up and share it into chunks (how does one share a months worth of images / notes?! haha!).

I wanted to share my top Instagram / picture spots as I know you guys are always looking for a good photo op, and NYC provides SO many!

Here are my top 10 Instagram spots in New York City!...

1. Top of the Rock (The Rockefeller Center)

The Rockefeller Center ALWAYS provides some great photo ops - whether you're out on the viewing platform, shooting in the window looking out at NYC or a snap shot from above (see the first image in this post!). Every time I visit New York, I can't resist visiting the top of the Rock for an Instagram snap - or three ;).

2. Brooklyn Bridge

Again, another spot that offers a plethora of picture opportunities - I adore shooting on Brooklyn Bridge! If it's quiet enough grab a quick snap in the middle of the bridge, it always looks so dramatic! I also love a picture sitting on the side of the bridge looking back at the city (just be super careful when you're up there!).

3. Domino Park

This trip to New York was my first visit to Domino Park and I loved it there SO much! It's a really cool industrial area, where you can eat tacos, chill in the park or sunbath with a view of NYC! I spent so much time hanging out there - but, it also turns out it's a GREAT spot for some pictures, you can shoot in front of the old Domino Sugar factory, or with the Manhattan bridge / skyline in the background!

4. Radio City Music Hall

Ahh I'm *sure you would have seen the gorgeous lights of the Radio City Music Hall gracing your Instagram pages several times (several *thousand haha!), this is a great spot for a picture - we were super lucky to capture a yellow taxi in the background too, which gives is a serious NYC feel! (The road is packed with yellow taxi's so you really won't have to wait long!).

5. Central Park

Central Park offers SO many picture opportunities, whether you want to hire a rowing boat (for just $15) to get a snap on the water, or on the bridge (pictured above), or just wandering through the park! Central Park is always super gorgeous!

6. Washington Street, Dumbo

Head to Washington Street in Dumbo, Brooklyn (literally a 5 minute walk from the footpath entrance / exit to Brooklyn Bridge!), for some Insta-worthy snap! Washington Street offers an incredible view of the Manhattan bridge (plus it actually frames the Empire State building too which makes for a really cool shot! - My head is in the way so you can't see it but trust me on this one haha!).

7. New York Subway

I LOVE shooting on the New York Subway, it shows a slightly more realistic & grimy side of NYC, but it makes for a great picture backdrop (especially if you can catch a train passing in the background!). Got some right odd looks taking these pictures but it was worth it ha!

8. Soho, Manhattan

I adore shooting in Soho, it's by far my favourite neighbourhood in New York and is just SO pretty! The buildings make a great backdrop, be sure to snap a shot on one of the zebra crossings like the picture above!

9. Cute cafes / restaurants

10. NYC Rooftops

The above images were shot on a balcony of a room at the gorgeous Chatwal Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, but there are so many stunning rooftops in New York that you'll be able to get your Instagram snap at! If you're looking for a rooftop bar, then try the Hoxton, The William Vale, or the Refinery Rooftop. If you're looking for more of a site seeing spot, then go for the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State, the Chrysler Building or the MET museum rooftop!

There we have it guys, my top 10 Instagram worthy spots in NYC! I hope you found this post useful for your trip for New York!

Have you snapped pictures at any of these spots before? Any locations that you didn't already know about?
