Our Spare Room Makeover With Dulux

Eeeeeek! I am SO excited to share another room in our home! I shared my first interior post since buying our home a while back (you can check it out HERE, it's all about my top tips on transforming a small space and our bedroom makeover!).
Today's post is the second room in the house that I'm sharing with you guys, and it's our spare room! It was one of those rooms that I didn't really know what to do with, I changed my mind on how I wanted the decor at least 29743258763 times!
When Dulux reached out to see if I'd like to get creative with 'Spiced Honey' - their shade of 2019, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the room! Adding some touches of burnt orange, gold, and some white to brighten the walls - I couldn't be happier with the results!
I called Ben yesterday and was like "I've just finished the spare room and I've spent about half hour just sitting here staring / smiling with the results" haha! I was so happy with how it turned out, I kind of had a vision in my mind and after playing around with the finishing touches, I finished it exactly how I wanted, it looked better than I could ever have imagined!
The new shade from Dulux is the perfect warm tone to introduce to your home this year! The colour went on really well (it was super pigmented and smooth, I gave the walls two coats). It's so easily complimented by other shades and works really well - it looks stunning when the light hits the room!

Okay, first things first - the before shots! I have to say that I was completely rubbish with taking before shots of the house - it was so overwhelming when we moved in, I completely forgot to snap some of the rooms!
The picture on the left was the room when we viewed the house, so the previous owners decor in the room, and the image on the right was after I'd applied two coats of paint and put up the shelf, before I'd removed the tape and decorated the room!
