Where? Banjar Kumbuh, Desa Mas, Ubud, Gianyar – Bali - Indonesia 80571

Located 90 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport and just 15 minutes from the centre of Ubud, this gorgeous, lush resort is situated in Ubud, close enough to be in on the action, but far enough for the resort to have a secluded retreat feel!

I spent one night at the stunning Sankara resort with the lovely Lucia, in the midst of a crazy week in Canggu, we decided to spend some time exploring Ubud and it was so magical to stay at the resort. We were lucky enough to share a Deluxe Pool Villa at the resort and oh my goodness it was heavenly!

The Room: Deluxe Pool Villa

We were fortunate enough to spend one night in the dreamy Deluxe Pool Villa rooms; complete with a private pool, loungers, the most incredible bath tub, outdoor shower, double sinks and huge four poster bed! The room was heaven after a crazy week of partying in the south of Bali - we had a lovely outdoor dinner, and lazed by the pool during the daytime!

Relax by the main pool , indulge in a spa treatment or enjoy yoga on the roof top pavilion watching the sunrise, the Sankara has an incredible array of actives to keep you occupied during your stay - and if you want to relax by the pool with a cocktail then that's also totally fine ;)

The Area:

Located in the artistic area of Banjar Mas Village, it's just 15 minutes from the centre of Ubud where you'll find plenty of action from restaurants, yoga classes and artist markets! Ubud town is well worth a visit during your stay at the Sankara!
