Where to stay: The Titanic Hotel

Stanley Dock, Regent Road, Liverpool, L30AN

So, you and your girls are planning a trip to Liverpool, but, first things first - where will you stay? I'll make that answer a LOT easier for you... The Titanic Hotel! The Titanic Hotel used to be an old Rum warehouse (it still has an incredible rum bar which sells over 60 different types of rum and is well worth a visit for a cocktail.. or two!). The rooms are stunning with huge bay windows overlooking the docks, tall warehouse ceilings, the biggest, comfiest bed and gorgeous baths! This room was everything we needed and more for the perfect escape in Liverpool!

The hotel is situated just a 5/10 minute car ride into town, we often opted for taxis in the evenings so we could have a drink (it cost around £5/6 during the day and £7/8 at night to get into town!). The hotels restaurant; Stanley's Bar & Grill has been voted one of the best places to eat in Liverpool and is a must if you're staying at the hotel (breakfast in the restaurant is also delicious!).

Where to eat: Mowgli Street Food

69 Bold St, Liverpool L1 4EZ, UK / 3 Water St, Liverpool L2 0RD, UK

Best for: delicious Indian Street Food for lunch or dinner!

Okay, so I'm not even joking when I say if there's one place you need to dine at in Liverpool; it's Mowgli! This restaurant is INCREDIBLE!! Serving up Indian Street Food (at fairly inexpensive prices), this restaurant is a must for anyone visiting Liverpool!

We headed to the Water Street restaurant one evening and fell in love with the decor, food and atmosphere! We both agreed that we'd visit Liverpool again, just for this restaurant alone!

Where to eat: Leaf

65-67, Bold St, Liverpool L1 4EZ, UK

Best for: Tea, music and good times!

Located on Liverpool's uber cool Bold Street, Leaf is a must for good food (hell, delicious food!), fresh juices, an incredible range of tea (and as their bio goes; music and good times!). We stopped off at Leaf on our first day for lunch and oh my god it was incredible, I opted for a Moroccan chicken sandwich and sweet potato soup (their sandwich & soup options are super popular and I'd highly recommend trying it out as it was so yummy!).

My BFF had a delicious salad with a passionfruit iced tea and I opted for the  Strawberry & Kiwi iced tea. I really loved the chilled vibes of this  spot - it's the perfect destination for a pre/post shopping lunch!

Where to eat: Filter + Fox

27 Duke St, Liverpool L1 5AP, UK

Best for: DELICIOUS banana bread and incredible coffee!

Filter + Fox was the first place we actually visited in Liverpool, we'd driven up from London late the night before and were in search of GOOD coffee, and boy did Filter + Fox deliver! I can honestly say that our coffee at Filter + Fox was some of the best I've ever tasted, so smooth and delicious - it definitely woke us up!

We decided to grab a bite of breakfast before heading out to explore for the day, I was feeling something sweet that morning and went for the banana bread which was DELICIOUS and Amy went for Eggs Benedict and loved it just as much! This place is great for a quick bite, good coffee and they also do food & cocktails in the evening too!

Where to eat: Love Thy Neighbour

Love Thy Neighbour, 108 Bold St, Liverpool L1

Best for: brunch, good food & Instagram snaps!

Amy and I stumbled across Love Thy Neighbour on our last day in Liverpool as we'd done a spot of shopping and where looking for some yummy food but was after some bites to share, Love Thy Neighbour fitted the bill perfectly and we ordered some pitta breads with hummus and halloumi fries (yes, I can confirm that both were as delicious as they sounds!).

Oh, and Love Thy Neighbour makes for the PERFECT Instagram spot with it's pink/white interior, and pink Love Thy Neighbour feature wall outside... it would have been rude not to get a picture right?!

Where to shop: Liverpool One

5 Wall St, Liverpool L1 8JQ, UK

Best for: high street shops & a good variety of restaurants!

It became apparent that we simply needed to pay a visit to Liverpool One during our trip (Liverpool offers some other great shopping malls too such as; Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols & Clayton Square Shopping Centre and ). We weren't actually due to arrive in Liverpool until the Monday morning but we decided to head up the night before so we could have a leisurely breakfast and a stroll around the shops!

Liverpool One sure didn't disappoint! Packed full with great high street shops such as; Zara, All Saints, Victoria's Secret and many more! We also stopped off to grab a Joe & The Juice which was located in John Lewis; the perfect shopping companion!

Where to shop: Bold Street

Bold Street, Liverpool, UK

Best for: quirky shops, record stores & cute cafes!

If you're not looking for the high street giants and chain restaurants then Bold Street is the place for you to discover something a little different. From quirky vintage stores, to recored shops and cute cafes (both Leaf & Love Thy Neighbour are on Bold Street!). We loved wandering along this street to capture some true Liverpudlian atmosphere and soak in the cute stores.

I'd definitely recommend a walk along Bold Street (Hope Street is also great!), for something a little different in this vibrant city!

Where to shop: Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet

Kinsey Road, Wirral, CH65 9JJ

Best for: designer pieces at outlet prices!

I'm going to be completely honest here and say that I'm always so apprehensive when visit designer outlet villages, you just never know what you'll get and whether it's worth it until you're there. But oh my GOD it was SO worth it! The lovely guys at Cheshire Oaks kindly gave me a £250 voucher to spend and I honestly had a boot full of goodies! I've filmed a haul for my YouTube channel and will show you what I bought over there so I don't spoil all of the good surprises!

I was seriously impressed with the stores at Cheshire oaks, packed full of great brands such as Kooples, Michael Kors, Burberry, Kurt Geiger, Guess and so many more! There was also so many great places to eat from Wagamama to Carlucci's and Giraffe!

What to do: Visit the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral & British Music Experience

Best for: a cultural experience in Liverpool

If you're looking for something a little more cultured to do then I'd highly recommend either visiting the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral or the British Music Experience!

Liverpool Cathedral: We spent an hour or so one morning wandering around the super impressive Liverpool Cathedral, the cathedral is SERIOUSLY beautiful and absolutely worth a visit (make sure you take a rooftop tour too as the views across Liverpool are stunning!).

British Music Experience: I absolutely LOVED visiting the British Music Experience exhibition! The exhibition tells the story of music from costumes, instruments and memorabilia from some of the words most renowned artists such as The Beatles, Oasis and Adele! An absolute must for music lovers!

Other places in Liverpool to note/visit:

Buyers Club: Incredible for dinner; great for selections of meats/cheeses and a few glasses of vino! Super pretty/romantic setting!

Furnival's Well: Built in 1860, this cocktail bar used to be a prison! Enjoy a cocktail or two in one of the old cells.. so cool!

Have you been to Liverpool before? Is this somewhere you'd consider for your next girls weekend? We absolutely LOVED it and are already planning our trip back!
