Being completely honest with you gals, once you've seen the pictures from the Dream Hotel in Phuket you'll be all like 'Hayley, you didn't even need to give us 8 reasons to visit' because OHMIGOD this place sells itself; and HELL YES it really does! Dream Phuket caters for the party-goer but combines this with relaxation, the hotel and concept is based on their guest having fun, BUT in a dream-y location where you can get that down time in too! On first impressions this hotel was super luxe but with a splash of colour, fun and a modern twist; it reminded me a lot of Ibiza! I couldn't wait to explore the hotel and particularly couldn't wait to lay my eyes on the rooftop pool that I'd read/heard all about! Let me take you on a tour of the hotel & tell you 8 reasons why you absolutely have to visit Dream Phuket (especially if you're visiting Phuket/Thailand anytime soon!)...

Sometimes it's easy to overlook how bloody incredible staff actually are, but oh my god the staff at the Dream Phuket were just so wonderful from the second we arrived. They gave us a tour of the hotel (shot out to the lovely Christine for giving us a tour!), gave us some advice on local restaurants as well as what to do in the area, they advised that we visit the hotel's beach club (more on that below), during our trip it rained on a couple of days and the lovely staff installed a DVD player in our room so we could indulge on a massive Harry Potter binge, the staff were wonderful and really couldn't do enough for us!

Whether you're soaking up the vibes on the hotel's lush rooftop pool or sipping on Mojito's by the main pool (they do KILLER cocktails and pizza for a midday soiree FYI!), this hotel knows how to do swimming pools! My favourite thing to do on holiday is pitch up by a pool with a stack of books and chill the F out, and that's exactly what I did here at the Dream Phuket!

You'll find a lush champagne bar on the rooftop by the pool (can I get a HELL YEAH?!), as well as Indulge; the hotel's fine wine & cigar bar which is a hidden gem but one well worth knowing about. Any hotel that has two epic champagne bars is a sure-fire winner in my books! *books flights back*.

I adored the rooms in this hotel, we had a Deluxe King room which was decorated beautifully and super spacious, we had a balcony that overlooked the pool area and a lush stand alone bath! If you're visiting the hotel for a special occasion then I'd definitely, definitely recommend either the Sky Pool Suite or a Villa!

We were lucky enough to sample the menu which is launching this year during our visit in December and I can honestly say the food we had during our stay was simply divine! The incredible chefs showcase their skills through a 'live kitchen' set up; their skills lie in three world famous cuisines; Modern Thai, Tuscan or Contemporary European Cuisine. Even if you're not staying at the hotel I would definitely recommend a visit to Trilogy for a wonderful meal!

During our visit to the Dream Phuket, myself and Ben were so kindly treated to a signature massage, we were both feeling really groggy from jet lag and it was just what we needed! We booked in for the joint massage room and spent an hour of complete relaxation and visiting another world entirely (queue dribbling from myself), it really was so relaxing! I also decided to treat myself to a manicure post massage which was stunning and lasted the duration of our 8 day trip! I'd definitely recommend booking into the spa for some serious R&R!

You absolutely have to visit Dream Beach Club during your stay at Dream Hotels, it's just a short shuttle bus ride away (which is free FYI)! Expect to find lots of loungers and space to relax, whilst the venue puts on EPIC parties and world class DJs including Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound and more! We spent a couple of days relaxing at the Dream Beach Club, which for me was the PERFECT mix of partying with relaxation, rose and soft house music?! YES PLEASE!

Following on from point 7 about visiting Dream Beach Club, you HAVE TO visit on the weekend to enjoy their Sunday brunch, from about £40 per head it's an all-you-can eat brunch an OHMIGOD it was just insane! We had a roast dinner in Thailand and it was all kinds of wonderful! There was the biggest array of food (hands down the BEST brunch I've ever been to!), from seafood, to roast dinner, dessert, seafood, fresh fruit and SO much more! Head over to enjoy brunch then spend the afternoon on the loungers soaking up some rays... bliss!
