Our Top 4 Places To Eat In Benidorm
Four restaurants that you NEED to check out if/when you're visiting Benidorm! - Words & Pictures by Hayley F...
Benidorm is famous for its ‘Brits abroad’ culture, where regular visitors can guarantee themselves a cracking roast dinner or fry up. However, Benidorm also offers some of the best Spanish food I’ve tasted. I am a huge fan of Spanish food and when I hear the words tapas/paella/charcuterie (or any type of food!) I instantly get excited – nothing beats tasting local cuisine. So if you’re considering a trip to Benidorm, we have outlined our favourite four places to eat...
1.) ULIA
2.) PUNTA DE SAL
3.) THE ISLAND
4.) VILLA VENECIA
1.) BEST FOR: PAELLA - ULIA RESTAURANT
If you love paella, then a must-visit is Ulia Restaurant! Situated on quieter Poniente Beach, it has big open windows so you can enjoy your food whilst looking out to the sea. As a family run restaurant, it's a hit with the locals and they source all their seafood and fish from the Bay.
Where? Avenida Vicente Llorca Alos nº 15, 03502, Benidorm, Alicante
2.) BEST FOR: PEOPLE WATCHING - PUNTA DE SAL
When I’m on holiday I love to find a promenade to enjoy lunch, where you can eat, drink and people watch to your hearts content. Punto De Sal Gastro & Beach gives you exactly that. On offer is tasty food, from Spanish delights like paella, to beef curry – so there really is something to suit everyone. This restaurant offers indoor seating with a super chic atmosphere, so it’s perfect for year-round dining.
Where? Plaza de Torrejo, nº 3, Benidorm | 03501 (Alicante)
3.) BEST FOR: TRANQUIL SETTING - THE ISLAND
For a quieter dinner setting, The Island at the five-star Asia Gardens Hotel will be right up your street! Set amongst the Langkawi pools of the hotel, it offers an amazing selection of barbequed meat and fish, with an amazing choice of desserts (a big deal for me as I have a huge sweet tooth!).
Where? Asia Gardens Hotel, Rotonda Del Fuego Terra Mitica 03509 Finestrat - Alicante
4.) BEST FOR: GOURMET MEDITERRANEAN - VILLA VENECIA
Situated in Benidorm Old Town, Hotel Villa Venecia offers some of the tastiest and most well presented Mediterranean food you will ever eat. Offering spectacular sea views, I would recommend visiting for lunch, or early dinner to really make the most of this restaurant and its location.
Where? Hotel Villa Venecia, Plaza San Jaume, 1. 03500 - Benidorm (Alicante)
