Life Update: New Home & Moving To Norfolk

A life catch up / update!...

Morning my loves, feel like it's been a while since we caught up properly eh?!

We've had a stressful few months (the move was crazy!), HOWEVER we decided to sell our first home in Hertfordshire and move to Norfolk! To be completely honest, we've never been happier!

There's a few reasons why we decided to move; the first one being lockdown - it really taught us a slower pace of life and to value our home and surroundings more, we then decided we were ready for a new chapter so put our house on the market. We knew we wanted to seek out that new slower pace of life that we'd been enjoying so much so we settled on Norfolk and haven't looked back!

We'd only been here a few times previously (twice last year actually, for my 30th birthday & for a solo escape in December), I'd been a few times as a child too and every time we just loved it more and more. PLUS our money went way further in this part of the UK (Hertfordshire is beautiful, but so incredibly expensive!).

We've bought our second home and couldn't be anymore in love (isn't she a beauty?!), the main part of the house was built nearly 300 years ago so this is going to be a labour of love and a long renovation project, BUT we're so excited to get stuck in! We've not done anything too drastic so far, just pulled up all of the carpets, removed some wallpaper and tried to make it feel a bit more 'us'.

We're working with an incredible architect to help us re-design the kitchen / diner space as it has SO much potential so super excited to get that project underway (hopefully later this summer!).

So yeah, that's our news really - I hope you guys are having a wonderful 2021 so far, I'm really enjoying getting back into blogging again and will make sure I keep you guys posted on our plans!
