Earlier this week I headed over to my sister in laws house to give her beauty room a makeover! She's a lash technician by trade and told me a few weeks back that she'd love to give her beauty room a revamp but she didn't know where to start or how to tie the room together!

Having recently used the Elle Decoration by Crown range for a recent makeover, I was super impressed with the paint quality and colour range that I knew I'd love to use the range again for this makeover!

I started by putting together a moodboard of inspiration, colours I'd like to use and products that could work for the room (I always do this when I'm planning a room makeover as it's easier to see what sort of vibe I'm going for and what products I'd like to use!).

After seeing lots of stencilling online, I knew that I wanted to create a feature wall in the room (Su is always looking for a nice background to shoot her lash pictures too so this is perfect for that!), to create the feature wall I used Elle Decoration by Crown in "Black Glass" - a gorgeous blue / black, the colour worked really well on the wall and looked fab with the gold stencilling / greenery / macrame sitting against it!

For the other three walls I opted for Elle Decoration by Crown in "Tapestry Thread", a stunning, subtle blush pink! The pink worked really well with the darker shade, to accessories the room I used lots of natural / rattan fabrics, dried flowers, and touches of gold to keep it sophisticated, professional but fun too!

Su was so overwhelmed with the result that she cried! She's so excited to get her clients back into her new lash room and to finally have a space that she's happy to call her own and feel relaxed in! What do you think? xx

The snug corner: After!

Su really wanted an area where her clients could relax before and after their treatments, originally she had a sofa there but felt that it was too big and made the area feel slightly too crowded. I opted for a single chair and side table to open up the space, furnished by a rattan shelf, a gorgeous pink rug and some mirrors - it looks more open and inviting now!
