6 Of The Best: Brunch Spots In New York
I've rounded up the top 6 brunch spots in NYC!
With all of these New York posts rolling out, it’s about bloody time I focused on a food one isn’t it?! NYC is known for its incredible food and diverse culture - so I thought I’d round up my favourite brunch spots that I discovered whilst in the city!
My top 6 brunch spots in New York!...
1.) Egg Shop - I’m going to start with my favourite as I bloody LOVE Egg Shop and age there about 6 times during my month in NYC haha! I took Ben & my bestie and they loved it too! From omelettes to bowls and baps - if you’re into eggs (and even if you’re not as they have tonnes of other stuff - their hash browns are GREAT!), then this is one for you! I’d recommend their egg & sausage bap or the Pepper Boy - oh, and their Flat Whites are amazing too!
2.) Cafe Colette - Ben and I had a lovely slow a Sunday brunch atCafe Colette and we loved it! We took a stroll through Williamsburg on a lovely sunny day and stopped off at Cafe Colette for coffee and brunch - the food was delicious (and the coffee was too!), a great spot for trying out!
3.) Sunday In Brooklyn - another great brunch option in Williamsburg isSunday In Brooklyn, it’s the new ‘it’ spot so you might want to book in advance but we only had to wait half hour for three of us on a weekend which wasn’t terrible! The food is delicious (The fried chicken sandwich or the egg & sausage sandwich are both delicious, and their cinnamon bun is TO DIE FOR! Oh, and their iced lattes & Mimosa's are awesome too!).
4.) The Butchers Daughter - another favourite from me (and one with several locations too! I only visited the Williamsburg restaurant but they have several in Manhattan too!), The Butchers Daughter offer delicious, yet healthy meals - I’ve road tested the grains bowl; the avocado on toast, the filled croissant and the French toast - all are delicious (the French toast is NEXT LEVEL THOUGH)! Oh, and they do a mean latte too!
5.) Jacks Wife Frieda - I stopped byJacks Wife Frieda with Lucia and her mum in Chelsea one day for brunch a we had such a delicious meal! There’s 3 locations in Manhattan, the other two being in Soho and the West Village. I went for an iced latte with the poached eggs & avocado on toast.. SO good!!
6.) Five Leaves - Saving the best for last because Five Leaves is one of the BEST brunches I've had in NYC! It's in Greenpoint, just along from Williamsburg and is so worth a visit - the food (and iced lattes) are DELICIOUS! There's such a cool, laid back vibe here which I loved - the food is great and it didn't feel pretentious, despite it being the 'cool' spot to go right now!
There we have it my loves my top 6 brunch spots in the big Apple! Have you been to any of the above? If not; I hope you enjoy them! Any new ones I need to note for my next trip?
