Our Garden Snug Update With Wayfair

If you’ve been following my blog for a while then you’d know that a few months back I shared our garden snug renovation - I’d always dreamed of having a snug area since when we first starting saving for a house and I’m SO happy that we managed to make my dream come true!
We had a good garden for it; with the paving slabs already in place for us to get started with our snug - it seemed like the perfect project! We painted the fences black and added some seating and our snug was born.
However; the garden has been a *little neglected since we’ve moved the focus more inside (the spare bedroom, downstairs bathroom and now the kitchen have all had a makeover - and no we pretty much don’t sleep with all the work going on haha).
So it was time that the garden had a little refresh in time to enjoy the last few months of summer! I’m so excited to have partnered with Wayfair; an incredible homeware brand that I’m so proud to be working with!
Before our snug started coming to life, I’d always known that I wanted a pergola or some kind of awning outside; I love the aesthetic of how it looks; but it’s also the perfect way to offer your snug a little shade when the heat gets too much!
We picked out this *retractable patio awning and I love it! I wanted the grey / monochrome theme from our house to extend to the garden and I love the dark grey fabric across the top - I think it frames the snug perfectly! With the *square concrete fireplace, I’d always known that I wanted some kind of central focus piece and this concrete fire pit does exactly that - it’s the show stopper for me! It looks amazing and will come in so handy in the winter when we want to enjoy the garden but it starts to get colder!
One of my favourite pieces that we picked from Wayfair has to be this *monochrome rug - I adore it! It’s an outdoor rug so it’s perfect for all weather conditions and it just ties in the colour scheme of the garden so well! (It’s also REALLY reasonably priced too, such a bargain!).
To complete our garden I ordered a few pieces myself from Wayfair the other day; I opted for this zebra print cushion to tie in the monochrome theme, and this gorgeous pink cushion. I wanted to add a touch of colour and thought I’d go for a girly palette with pink! To finish the garden (and to keep in with the pink, because there’s no such thing as too much pink right?!), I also ordered this pink throw which I love!
We have so many throws in the house; I really love for our guests to be comfy when they come over, I want them to kick off their shoes and snuggle up on the sofa or in the snug and to really feel at home!
So, there we have it guys - our garden snug is finally complete! I’m SO happy with the finished result and can’t quite believe it’s ours! We’ve wanted this for so long and it’s so nice that it’s complete, I’m ready to have some friends over and enjoy it now whilst summer lasts!
