An Overview of 2018 and Some Goals for 2019
Re-capping on 2018, and setting myself some travel / life goals for 2019!
First of all my loves... I hope you have ALL had the most AMAZING CHRISTMAS EVER and got everything you ever wanted!! I'm writing this post before Christmas so I can give myself a break over the Holidays but by the time it will be going live, Christmas would have passed so I hope it was a good one for you all... and I hope that you're getting your glad rags on for NYE! ;)
I wanted to post a life / chatty / catch up post as I feel like I haven't done one in FOREVER!! I was looking back at my memories from 2018 the other day and it wasn't until I stopped to really look back, that I could fully digest what an AMAZING year it had been!
I didn't really set myself any goals for last year other than to travel and save for our house (which we've just bought and we're moving into after Christmas.. it still doesn't feel real!!).
Firstly I thought I'd do a quick re-cap of 2018, then I want to set myself some goals for 2019 (mainly just setting this post for myself so I don't forget LOL), but I'd absolutely LOVE to know what your goals are for the year ahead!
2018 Travel Recap:
Dorset > Amsterdam > Thailand > Paris > NYC > Liverpool > Barcelona > Singapore > Bali > Australia > Cornwall > Venice > Paris > Amsterdam > St Lucia > Brighton > West Coast road trip (LA, Las Vegas, Zion, Joshua Tree, Palm Springs) - probably forgotten a few!
2019 Travel Wishlist:
Sri Lanka (hopefully heading there in January!) / Canada (I've been saying this for THREE YEARS now so I'm hoping 2019 is the year it finally happens for us!) / Japan (another one I've put on my vision board for 2/3 years so hoping 2019 is the ONE!) / South Africa / Croatia / Utah / Budapest / NYC (can't keep me away!) / New Zealand
Other 2019 goals:
I don't really have too many goals as I don't like to put too much pressure on myself, but my main focus next year will be the house! I'm SO excited to decorate and turn it into our home, as well as building my office and turning that into a creative space.
I'd of course love to travel as much as I did this year, but I'll be much more limited with funds, so I'll probably cut back and plan my trips out better and just cover ones that I REALLY want to do (Canada and Japan i'm looking at youuuuu!).
What are your goals for 2019?! I'd love to hear! Whether they're life / work / travel goals - tell me! :)
Have a wonderful NYE my loves, I hope that 2019 brings you everything you want it to! <3
