Girls Night at the Mondrian
A couple of weeks back I was invited to an AMAZING Girls night at the Mondrian.
Yup, you heard right; a girls night – aka a night of drinking cocktails, eating the most delicious nibbles, catching up with some of my favourite bloggers, and watching Mean Girls in the hotels very own private cinema! I absolutely couldn’t believe how incredible this night sounded and jumped at the chance to attend, with my girl Allie in tow!
We arrived at the hotel around 3pm after some fun meetings to find out that we had been luckily been upgraded to a river view room (although the weather in London wasn’t overly co-operative that day), we had the most INSANE view of the river Thames, we perched on the window ledge watching the world go by and munching on our red velvet macaroon cakes that had been left as a welcome surprise (this hotel just keeps getting better, right?!).
We both excitedly unpacked, had a hot bubble bath (not together LOLZ), and started getting ready for a night of fun whilst gossiping and listening to Kisstory #GOALS. We headed up to the Rumpus Room around 6.30pm to meet the other blogger babes for catch ups, photobooth fun and pretty much drinking ALL of the incredible cocktails! It was so, so lovely to catch up with everyone <3
After an EPIC evening of drinks and catch ups we headed down to the Mondrian’s private cinema (how bloody cool?!), to watch Mean Girls, aka ULTIMATE chick flick!! It was basically two hours of twenty or so girls shouting at quotes at the film whilst eating popcorn and drinking wine which was hilarious and So. Much. FUN!!
I didn’t ever want the night to end but alas it did, Allie and I dragged ourselves up to bed, popped on some slippers and the FLUFFIEST robe and climbed into our GIANT bed which was ridiculously comfy. Oh, and then ordered room service and smashed the lot because apparently we’d drunk way more than we thought… OOPS.
The next morning we pretty much dined like kings and ordered the Blueberry pancakes - they were still warm and SO delicious *inserts crying emoji*, and a side of fresh fruit which was also incredibly yummy! We then spent the morning lazily getting ready and packing up our cases before having a wander around the hotel and checking out the STUNNING spa (making a mental note to visit ASAP!).
We had the most wonderful stay at the Mondrian – it really WAS the perfect girls night in! Thank you so much to the Mondrian (and mega babe Katy) for hosting us and such an incredible night, I’ll never forget it!
Have you stayed at the Mondrian before? Is it somewhere you’d like to visit? What’s your dream girls night?
