The ULTIMATE Country Retreat You NEED To Know About: The Manor Weston, Oxford
Sharing some pictures and an insight to our amazing stay at The Manor Weston, Oxford!
Last month Ben and I took a D R E A M Y overnight trip to Oxford for my birthday, we spent the day wandering around Bicester Village (where we had the BEST roast dinner ever!), then drove around 5/10 minutes to spend the night at The Manor Weston, AKA quite possibly the dreamiest country manor house nestled into the heart of Oxford. Here's everything you need to know about The Manor and booking your stay!...
Where? The Manor at Weston-on-the-Green OX25 3QL
What does the hotel have to offer? With 28 bedrooms and suites (we stayed in the Junior Suite and it was WONDERFUL), you'll be sure to find the perfect room for your stay, from standard rooms, to dog friendly and family rooms - the hotel caters for everyone! Enjoy afternoon tea at the hotel or dine in The Manor’s 2AA Rosette restaurant, The Baron’s Hall (we ate dinner there and the food was incredible!). The Manor has the most beautiful gardens to wander around, take a dip in the pool or head to the tennis courts! The hotel has an incredibly intimate feel but they also offer so much to do; be sure to check out their events page to see what's on! I'm V intrigued by the magical Christmas at The Manor.. how picturesque would that be?!
Why The Manor? You simply NEED to add The Manor to your 'places to stay in the UK' list, if for nothing else other than to see the manors beautiful charm and history (Weston Manor House is a late 15th/early 16th century building!). It's a five minute drive from Bicester Village so it's the perfect place to schedule in some R&R after a long days shopping and enjoy a delicious meal at the hotels Baron Hall!

Dining at The Manor: During our stay we were lucky enough to enjoy a delicious meal in the Barons Hall; a 2AA Rosette status fine dining restaurant and OH MY GOODNESS the food was amazing! I actually opted for a vegan starter and main course (not intentionally they just sounded delicious!!), and chocolate and salted caramel desert (naturally!). We paired our meal with a crisp bottle of Sancerre and it was honestly the BEST birthday!
The Rooms: We were lucky enough to stay in a Junior Suite during our stay and it was beautiful, complete with a king size bed, a marble bathroom (and V dreamy bathtub!), plush velvet armchair, White Company toiletries and classic high ceilings - this room was the perfect mix of luxury and charm from the manors history. The Manor offers various room types including family rooms and dog friendly rooms, check out their range of rooms HERE.
Have you ever stayed at The Manor Country House & Hotel before? Is this somewhere you could see yourself booking for a relaxing getaway in the UK?
