7 Post Flight Beauty Essentials
Sharing my post flight tips on skincare and self love to get you feeling fresh again in no time!
Having landed back from a long flight last week I thought it was the PERFECT time to share my post-flight beauty & self care regime because OHMIGOD my skin is always SO bad after flying so it needs ALL of the TLC it can get! My skin is naturally oily but gets really dry during flying so it's a seriously mixed bag right now! Let's talk SOS skincare & post flying self care tips!...
1.) Glam Glow FLASHMUD Brightening Treatment Mask - £42: The very first thing I do with my skin post flight is a face mask because OMG please remove every ounce of dirt from my face (HOW does your skin feel so horrible after flying?!), and I have to say that Glam Glow is one of my go-to brands for face masks (I'm also a massive fan of Origins)! My skin always feels so dull and tired after travelling so this Glam Glow FLASHMUD Brightening Treatment Mask is the ultimate post-flight-pick-me-up!
2.) Garnier Skin Active Nourishing Botanical Toner with Honey Flower - £3.49: This product has quickly become my go-to toner, it's super light and leaves my skin feeling really nourished which I love! Post flying my skin is SO very dehydrated so this product is an absolute saviour for restoring some life back into my skin, oh, and at just £3.49 - it would be bloody rude not to wouldn't it?!
3.) Khiel's Ultra Facial Cream - £40.50: I am OBSESSED with this product, this 24 hour moisturiser continuously replenishes moisture throughout the day and THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT post travel!! This product is a bloody god send after a long bout of travelling/flying - I have the 125ml pot and it's lasted so, so well as this is the kind of product where a little will go a long way. THANK YOU Kiehl's for yet another corker of a product!
4.) Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil - £19: I'm bloody loving the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils and pretty much 99.9% of the time have at least one flavour floating around in my handbag somewhere! They are SUPER nourishing (and smell incredible!!), I know that £19 isn't the cheapest lip oil but I'm not even kidding when I say it will last you approximately 42864 years! I've had mine for what feels like forever and it's hardly gone down at all - the '07 Honey Glam' is by far my favourite (pictured in this post!).
5.) Aveda Stress Fix Concentrate - £22: Moving onto slightly more self care than beauty, this Aveda Stress Fix Concentrate is an absolute HERO product for me! I have several, one on my desk, one by my bedside table and one in my handbag because OHMIGOD this stuff is an absolute game changer! Whether I need to relax on a flight, clear my mind during a long day or get myself ready for bed, this product is just unreal on so many levels! The rollerball application is great as you don't have any waste with the product and it will last for ages! If you struggle to sleep or relax then this is the product for you - the lavender will help you to calm post flying!
6.) Bach Rescue Remedy - £9.99 - This stuff is absolute genius and always comes in handy for me post flying. I always find myself suffering quite badly with jet lag after long haul (as we all do), but on top of that I always feel so stressed once I've landed, it starts to build as I start my journey home - the thought of the amount of work looming over me always make me feel anxious! I keep this on my desk but often pop it in my bag if I have a super busy day, you just pop four drops directly onto your tongue or in a glass of water, to help achieve calmness - a must for post travelling!
7.) Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Hand Therapy - £18: Pretty much my go-to brand for hand creams (because let's be honest Crabtree & Evelyn just hit the nail on the head, every single time don't they?!), this Citron scent is a favourite of mine as it always smells so zesty and fresh! I have the 100g bottle on my desk and keep the 25g in my handbag for when I'm on the go! My hands are always crazy dry after flying so this is a MUST from me!
