Sooooooooo, if you follow me on social media then you'll know that I'm heading to LA later this month to embark on the Trek America Westerner 2 tour (because I haven't stopped harping on about it and OH MY GOD I am SO excited!). Trek America has always been a dream of mine since I was at school (yes, that is a LONG time ago now!), in particular the West Coast - I've always wanted to do that Trek and I have to pinch myself on a daily basis that I am *actually going, I still can't believe it!So, what is Trek America? Unless you've been living under a rock then I have NO doubt that you guys are clued up on Trek (they run bloggers trips every year - you can follow the #ITrekHere hashtag to see the latest trip to the deep South!). Trek was set up in 1972, this year being their 45th anniversary; making them the longest standing small group tour operator in North America.. cool, huh?! With years of experience under their belt, Trek can show you the highlights of America, from the very best beaches in California to the new music haunts in New Orleans! The tours are designed for 18-38 year olds and around 70% of people who book onto the tour are solo travellers - so, it really is the PERFECT introduction to solo travel!And what is the Westerner 2 tour? As I previously mentioned; I'll be heading on the Westerner 2 your which is.. you guessed it - two whole weeks on the West Coast of America! We'll be covering Las Vegas, driving Route 66, seeing the wonder that is Yosemite, exploring the beaches in California and walking the Golden Gate bridge in San Fransico (and that's just a few of the highlights!). I'm heading on the trip solo; which I'm SUPER excited and nervous about all rolled into one; I truly can't wait to live out my dream Trek and to take you UTTER BABES along for the ride!
