Have you ever been somewhere that the second you walk in it literally takes your breath away? Well, this is what happened when we arrived at Sri Panwa in Phuket. After around 24 hours of travelling to Thailand we were jet lag and exhausted but I still fight the feeling of feeling overwhelmed at the beauty that lay before me! Located on the South Eastern tip on Phuket (around 45 minutes from the airport, we grabbed a local taxi which cost us around £20). We arrived at the resort around mid morning and were taking to the check in lounge where we were presented with cold, fresh towels and a delicious welcome drink... we instantly knew this place would be even more amazing than we could ever have hoped!The resort it quite hilly so we mostly got around by hotel tuk tuk's, one of the lovely staff took us to our Penthouse room to show us around and I genuinely think I shed a tear (okay, I definitely did!). Our room was simply stunning - and even that is an understatement!! We had a hugeeeeeee lounge/kitchen area, a ginormous circle bed (HELLO AUSTIN POWERS), a stunning bathroom complete with a stand alone bath.. and get this.. a private infinity pool!! That really was the icing on the cake for both of us - it was just stunning and the view legit made me want to cry.. If you're thinking of heading to Phuket, I would definitely, definitely recommend this hotel! It was an oasis of calm and luxury away from the hustle and bustle. I spent days sipping on cocktails and just lazing around in the pool, we ate incredible food, used our private pool and genuinely had the best stay ever.
