48 Hours At The W, Verbier
I spent 48 hours at the W in Verbier, come and join me! - Words & pictures by Hayley...
If you follow me on Instagram (OH HEY @Frockmeimfamous), you'll have seen that I was recently staying at the stunning W, Verbier - and oh my god what a place! So many of you were commenting on my posts & Instagram stories saying just how beautiful the hotel/area was, and all I can say is that the pictures don't even do it justice. Not even close.
I stayed at the hotel for two nights with my BFF as we were shooting some Christmas content (coming soon so stay tuned for that!), but once we'd got all of the work jazz out of the way, we spent the rest of the time chilling by the pool with the most breathtaking view I've ever seen, napping, reading and exploring the hotel and the grounds. It honestly was such a magical 48 hours and I'd genuinely felt like I'd stepped into a Winter Wonderland!
So, first things first, how to get to Verbier? We booked our flights into Geneva with Easyjet for around £80 each, I also added a hold bag for £30 as we had so much luggage and paid just under £200 for the both of us which was a touch! Once in Geneva, we hopped on the train to Martigny, we bought a ticket at the station via SBB for roughly £40 each one way, the station was around a 30-40 minute to the W so we booked a car with Alpine Express. Alpine Express can also pick you up from Geneva airport directly from around €1,000 return but they can take up to 16 people, so ideal if you're travelling in a group for the ski season! Our journey from the airport including transfers took around 2 and a half hours and was worth every minute!

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE HOTEL...
THE ROOMS...
From the second we stepped into the rooms, I felt instantly relaxed; from faux fur throws and Hygge decor to giant bathtubs, mood lighting and breathtaking views - the hotel simply is stunning! We stayed in the Fabulous Room; complete with a W Signature bed and a mountain view. We shot some posts in the E-Wow Suite, which literally leaves you in awe, it's just so beautiful and the biggest hotel room I've ever seen, at 184 square metres, an in room sauna and a rotating bed (HELLO AUSTIN POWERS ANYONE?!).

THE VIEWS...
The views for me are what makes this hotel just an absolute must! From the moment we arrived we were just so blown away with the beauty of the alps, covered in snow - it felt super Christmas-y and magical, I loved every minute of it!
THE BREAKFAST...
Guys, I kid you not when I say the breakfast is an absolute selling point for this hotel (well, just one of many to be fair!), every morning there was a huge spread of pastries, fresh juices and fruit, prosecco (YUP!) as well as a menu of cooked breakfast to choose from! We had the french toast with maple syrup and crispy bacon with a fresh mint tea and a glass of bubbles and oh my, what a way to start the day!
THE HOTEL & THE DESIGN...
I was blown away by the design element of the W Verbier (I always am with the W Hotels - they're always so chic yet painfully cool!), from the cable tie lights to the inspirational plaques in the cafe and the artwork and sculptures dotted around the hotel... this place was just the dream!
THE POOL & SPA...
Oh my god the pool was to die for! After we'd finished our shoots we spent most of our day laying by the pool relaxing and reading, using the sauna & steam room and napping by the pool. This pool hands down has the best view I've ever seen... in my life!
